The singer, who returned to touring in 2008 after 15 years away, has recorded a new 10-track album for Columbia called Old Ideas.
The album's songs address themes such as love, sexuality, loss and death according to Columbia, which said it is "arguably the most overtly spiritual" of Cohen's albums.
