NME Radio secures temporary FM licence

The station, which is currently available on Freesat, Sky, Virgin Media and online, will air on FM in London from October 6 to November 2, and in Manchester from November 10 to December 7.

The move pits DX Media managing director Sammy Jacob against Xfm, the station he helped to launch in 1997.

The temporary licences are on 87.7FM.
