In a letter to the minister today (see Business and Politics Focus on musicweek.com), UK Music CEO Feargal Sharkey points out to Sutcliffe that the Government has "just days" to evaluate the hundreds of submissions fed into the DCMS three month consultation that ended Friday.

Sharkey writes: "the DCMS have just days to evaluate possibly hundreds of submissions, seek appropriate agreement and clearances with other Government departments, formulate a decision and then lay an LRO (legislative reform order) before parliament. ...
