Sony deal means SoundCloud subscription service is on its way

One of the last major obstacles to SoundCloud’s much-touted subscription service has been removed, after the streaming platform finally signed a licensing deal with Sony Music.

The service now has deals with all three majors, having previously been licensed by Warner Music in November 2014 and Universal Music in January this year.
