Streaming growth 'won't benefit everyone' - Clive Gardiner

The idea that all will be well with the music industry once streaming models reach scale is a myth.

That’s according to Clive Gardiner, founder of the Peter Gabriel-backed streaming platform WE7, which was acquired by Tesco to form BlinkBox.

Speaking to M-Magazine, Gardner says that although streaming has a bigger status in the music industry, it is harder for individual song writers and artists to make money.
