UK Music has reached out to Maria Miller MP on her first day in the job as David Cameron's new Culture Secretary.
The music industry trade body has written to Miller, welcoming her to the post and inviting her to its away day in October.
The letter points out that: “Developments on copyright reform, implementation of the Digital Economy Act, the Communications White Paper and the Live Music Act will determine the direction of music businesses.
