Beggars' belief: Indie publisher set for 'exciting' US expansion
Beggars Music chairman Andy Heath has told Music Week that the growth of the publisher has been “thrilling” as he hands over to newly-appointed MD Amy Morgan.
The company launched in 2011 and has built up a roster including Sampha, This Is The Kit, Glass Animals, Warpaint and Cat Power. Morgan, who was Beggars Music’s second employee, has been heading up the creative side of the business and overseeing the signing and development of talent.
