'Her hit rate is outstanding': Camille Purcell signs long-term BMG deal

Songwriter Camille Purcell has renewed her deal with BMG and entered into a new long-term publishing agreement.

Purcell has just had consecutive No.1 singles on the UK chart with co-writing credits on Clean Bandit’s Solo and I’ll Be There by fellow BMG writer Jess Glynne.

Purcell said: "I’m so happy to be signing with BMG again, and continuing such an amazing relationship. The team have done so much for me both in the UK and the US, supporting me both as a writer and now as an artist. I’m so excited for what’s to come in the future."

The UK singer-songwriter, who also goes by the stage name Kamille, has had co-writes on previous chart-topping singles Little Mix’s Shout Out To My Ex and Black Magic. She recently co-wrote Jax Jones’ latest single Ring Ring, featuring BMG songwriter Mabel and Rich The Kid.

Lisa Cullington, senior director BMG A&R Publishing, said: “Camille is an incredibly talented songwriter. Her hit rate is outstanding and we’re delighted that she has decided to stay with BMG. We’re so excited to continue our relationship with her and we look forward to even more success together.”

BMG’s publishing roster includes George Ezra, Jess Glynne, Mabel and Blossoms.
