Sync Story: Inside BMW/Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's placement

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are no strangers to sync, but their recent hook up with car giant BMW has lent some high profile heft to the title-track from the trio’s sixth album, 2010’s Beat The Devil’s Tattoo.

Its use in the sharp, desert-set film advertising BMW’s new M5 model has seen a spike in plays that has pushed its total count on Spotify to almost 29 million. It is the group’s most played song on the platform.
