Tipped by many to win Netflix its first feature film Oscar, Mudbound has prompted much excited industry chatter since its release late in 2017.

With Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund and Mary J Blige among its stars and racial conflict and post-traumatic stress disorder its principal themes, Mudbound maps the struggles of two farming families in the Mississippi Delta after the Second World War.
