"They are a band with vision": Casey sign to Full Time Hobby Publishing under Bucks Music Group joint venture

Full Time Hobby Publishing has signed recent Music Week Making Waves stars Casey to its publishing arm, which operates as a joint venture with Bucks Music Group. The Welsh emotional hardcore band signed to Full Time Hobby’s sister rock label Hassle Records in January 2016.

Speaking about the signing, Full Time Hobby co-founder Ian Westley said: “It’s been a great pleasure helping Casey develop their career on the records side. They are a band with vision. They work extremely hard and are very focused. As with all the acts we work with, we never insist on them signing their publishing with us. We prefer to work with a band and prove ourselves and then sign publishing. To that end, we’re extremely excited to have signed the band’s publishing in conjunction with our friends and partners at Bucks. The work now steps up on that side to find more opportunities.”

Bucks’ director creative A&R Sarah Liversedge Platz added: “Casey are incredibly hard-working and have a passionate following that’s growing and growing. And, most importantly, they produce great songs! We’re very pleased to be able to facilitate their deal with Full Time Hobby Publishing and will be working very hard to support the band and nurture new and exciting opportunities.”

The band’s second studio album, Where I Go When I Am Sleeping, was released on March 16, 2018 and hit No.3 on the Independent Breakers Chart and the Rock & Alternative Album Chart; as well as No.7 on the Vinyl Chart and No.12 on the Independent Album Chart. Casey also played major festivals last year, such as Slam Dunk, Download, and Reading & Leeds, as well as the Kerrang! Tour.
