Paul Pacifico has hailed the UK”s “fantastic independent music scene” as the trade body prepares for the eighth edition of its awards ceremony. The AIM Independent Music Awards takes place on Tuesday (September 4) at the Brewery in Clerkenwell, London.

Artists with multiple nominations include Let’s Eat Grandma, Phoebe Bridgers, Jorja Smith and Idles, who release sophomore album Joy As An Act Of Resistance (Partisan) on the eve of the awards.
