Jess Glynne, Pink and Panic! line up for Greatest Showman covers album

The Greatest Showman is already the year’s runaway best-selling album with sales so far of 1,231,825, according to the Official Charts Company.

A new sing-a-long edition could take it back to the charts with retailers anticipating brisk Q4 trade. But now The Greatest Showman will be competing with itself as Atlantic issues a companion album of all-star covers.

The Greatest Showman phenomenon meant big names, including Panic! At The Disco, Kanye West, Snow Patrol, J Cole, Manic Street Preachers, Fall Out Boy, Craig David, Justin Timberlake and Camila Cabello were all held off No.1 by the soundtrack album this year.

Now Panic! and David are among the acts involved in the covers album, The Greatest Showman - Reimagined, set for release by Atlantic on November 16. Other artists include Pink, Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson and Music Week cover star Jess Glynne with Years & Years.

Keala Settle, the original performer of This Is Me, features on a new version with Kesha and Missy Elliott.
