Kylie Minogue announces first new album in four years

Kylie Minogue will release her new album Golden on April 6 via BMG, her first for the label.

Mainly recorded in Nashville, Golden is Kylie’s first studio album in four years and her 14th studio album. Lead single Dancing is out now, and available to stream on all digital streaming platforms.

"I love that it's called Dancing, it's immediately accessible and seemingly so obvious, but there’s depth within the song," she said.

Every song on Golden is co-written by Minogue. Her trip to Nashville involved working alongside British-born songwriters Steve McEwan, whose credits include huge country hits for Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood, and Amy Wadge, best known for her mega-selling work with Ed Sheeran.

Golden was then mainly created with producer Sky Adams and a list of contributors including Jesse Frasure Eg White, Jon Green, Biff Stannard, Samuel Dixon, Danny Shah and Lindsay Rimes, and there's a duet with English singer Jack Savoretti.
