Pet Shop Boys announce second wave of reissues

Pet Shop Boys have confirmed the October 20 release of the second set of albums in their Catalogue 1985-2012 series of reissues from their long run at Parlophone.

Yes (2009) and Elysium (2012) have been remastered and will be accompanied by bonus albums of extra tracks, remixes and demos from the same period, including previously unreleased material. Yes features their 2009 BRITs medley – the duo won the Outstanding Contribution to Music – for the first time on CD.

The catalogue project is designed by Mark Farrow, who has a long association with Pet Shop Boys. Both albums will be packaged with an extensive booklet, in which Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe discuss each song.

The Catalogue: 1985-2012 reissue series began in July with the release of Nightlife, Release and Fundamental, which all re-entered the Top 40 album chart.

Pet Shop Boys received the NME Godlike Genius award earlier this year.
