Sam Smith, Rita Ora and Kasabian announced for first ever Global Awards

Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Kasabian, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix have been confirmed to perform at the first ever Global Awards.

The star-studded event, which will be held at Hammersmith's Eventim Apollo on March 1, will bring together all Global’s radio stations including Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC. The public and a panel of industry experts will vote for The Global Awards. 

The categories and long lists for the public vote, will be announced this coming Wednesday (December 20) and categories will cover music, entertainment and news.
