'We have gained such a promising band' BMG sign Brazilian rock band Ego Kill Talent

BMG Brazil have signed rock band Ego Kill Talent on a global deal.

The recordings partnership with the Brazilian outfit will see the label release their forthcoming second studio album – the follow up to their 2017 self-titled debut – which was recorded at the Foo Fighters' 606 Studios.

“Ego Kill Talent are not only brilliant musicians and amazing live, but also very experienced, which makes it incredibly fun and productive to work with them," said BMG Brazil's general manager Jasmina Zammit, who will market the band worldwide.

"I couldn’t be more excited we gained such a promising band so shortly after rolling out our label activities here in Brazil.”

Welcoming the deal, the five-piece declared: "We decided to go with BMG not only because of their label mentality, which is great. But also because of the team they have. In every office we went and in every meeting we had we felt embraced by people who showed a genuine willingness and capacity to take our career to the next level. We couldn’t be more excited to start this ride together!"

Earlier this year BMG in the UK announced it had signed country duo The Shires – read Music Week's interview about the deal.
