Charts analysis: Ariana Grande's Petal album blooms with 48,000 week one sales

Ariana Grande’s eighth studio album, Petal, makes a convincing debut atop the chart on consumption of 47,889 units (9,954 CDs, 16,916 vinyl albums, 1,327 cassettes, 1,553 digital downloads and 18,139 sales-equivalent streams) ahead of the UK leg of her Eternal Sunshine tour.
