Townsend Music’s Bruce McKenzie has praised album/ticket bundles for helping to entice customers who wouldn’t otherwise buy LPs.
The firm’s clients include Stormzy and Don Broco, and it recently rolled out an exclusive UK and US tour presale for rising star Tom Misch.
“A ticketing platform has a lot of traffic, so you can sell an album to someone who would normally just have streamed it on Spotify, for example,” said McKenzie, the Burnley-based company’s sales director.
