Spiritland, a new Kings Cross-based music venue and retailer, is set to open for business in mid-September.
Located in Stables Street, Spiritland was formerly set up in the Merchants Tavern in Shoreditch. In addition to hosting live music events, it also has a café, a bar and a shop selling music on vinyl and CD, alongside audio equipment and accessories.
The venue will also focus on high-end audio, featuring a sound system custom designed by Living Voice.
According to Resident Advisor, the venue will host performances spanning a diverse range of genres: "anything from Parliament-Funkadelic to Judee Sill to Talk Talk to Donald Fagen."
Furthermore, Spiritland will host a radio studio dubbed Spiritland Sound Studio, where people will be able to produce radio shows and podcasts.
