Artist manager Don Arden dies

The svengali behind such acts as Gene Vincent, the Small Faces, ELO and Black Sabbath, Arden was the father of Sharon Osbourne, with whom he had a tempestuous relationship following Sharon wrestling control of husband Ozzy's career from Arden.

Father and daughter reconciled in 2002 after Arden developed Alzheimer's disease.
