BBC to pull chart sponsor credits

The BBC today announced that it is to remove the on-air credits given to sponsors of the Official Charts.

The decision, which comes just a month after the Official Charts Company unveiled a new, two-year sponsorship deal with Coca Cola, will take effect "later this year" according to the BBC statement. The decision has been taken in direct consultation with the OCC, according to the statement.
