Jonathan Shalit 'beyond thrilled' with OBE honour

Jonathan Shalit has told Music Week that he is "beyond thrilled" to be awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

The ROAR Global founder joined the likes of Island Records boss Darcus Beese on the roll-call of new OBEs, announced late last night. Other music figures honoured included musician and broadcaster Cerys Matthews, who receives an MBE.
