TuneCore paid out $34m to artists in Q1 2014
TuneCore has revealed a $34.1 million payout to artists in the first quarter of 2014.
The distributed earnings figure sits alongside an increase in publishing royalties of 190% for rights-holders over the period.
The revenue for artists was generated from nearly 1.3 billion downloads and streams, representing a 75% increase compared to the same period in 2013.
