The Official Charts Company Midweek Sales Flash is in, and Taylor Swift has passed 40,000 sales for new album Lover.

With the figures not including Tuesday's streaming data, Lover (40,033 sales) is in pole position, with a growing lead over Ed Sheeran’s No.6 Collaborations Project (12,691 sales).
