'We feel very optimistic': Beatport say streaming can boost royalties collections

Beatport CEO Robb McDaniels has told Music Week that its new streaming service for DJs can bring “tens of millions of dollars” of rights income into the sector.

The Berlin-based firm launched subscription platform Beatport Link in beta in May. McDaniels said it has performed “better than expected” and will roll out to its DJ community.
