Aspiro-owned streaming services Wimp and Tidal have combined, under the Tidal name.

The Norwegian streaming service was launched in 2011 and is available in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Poland.

Tidal was created specifically for global expansion, with a catalogue of more than 25 million tracks in lossless FLAC quality. The combined service also offers editorial content and music videos.

Partnerships and integration deals have been made with more than 30 audio brands, including Sonos, with more to come.
