Labels seek out new media opportunities during lockdown

PR and promotions executives have spoken to Music Week about how artists’ campaigns have been transformed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Even acts that do press ahead with a release will face huge issues in trying to promote new music via press, TV and radio during the lockdown.

Wasted Talent titles Kerrang! and Mixmag both suspended publication for three months because of the uncertainty surrounding the distribution of print magazines.
