Atomic Fire is the latest chapter in the history of metal label Nuclear Blast, founded in 1987 by Markus Staiger.
The new label’s signings include Helloween, Opeth, Meshuggah, Amorphis, Michael Schenker Group, Primal Fear, and others.
Two former Nuclear Blast employees, Florian Milz and Markus Wosgien, will share CEO and label management roles.
The label’s headquarters are in the town of Donzdorf in southern Germany, which will be the site of a meeting point for metal fans, launching in the spring of 2022.
The UK office is led by Dan Tobin. There are also international offices in the USA (director: Liz Ciavarella-Brenner), Sweden (Darren Edwards), France (Olivier Garnier), Italy (Barbara Francone) and Spain (Sergi Ramos).
Additionally, Atomic Fire will look after the roster of the label Reaper Entertainment, led by Florian Milz and Gregor Rothermel, featuring acts including Tankard, Memoriam and Metal Church.
