Warner Music Austria and ADA Central Europe have entered into a strategic distribution and studio partnership with indie label, publisher, and creative hub Tonherd.

Consisting of Constantin Kaiser, Florian Koch and Valentin Bröderbauer, Vienna-based Tonherd operates as a full-service, end-to-end music company and is involved in all stages of music creation, from songwriting and production to release.

Under the new deal, Warner Music Austria and ADA Central Europe will handle global distribution, and provide strategic support designed to amplify Tonherd’s roster domestically and internationally.

The agreement also grants Warner Music Austria’s entire local artist roster direct access to Tonherd’s studio facilities.

"With this partnership, we aim to support artists as partners from the very early stages of their development and demonstrate our commitment to local Austrian music, while simultaneously creating a new, forward-looking, and market-aligned model of cooperation between the indie and major label sectors," said Franz Pleterski, general manager of Warner Music Austria. "I am very much looking forward to this collaboration and to the talent that will be discovered through it in the coming years."

Tonherd’s creative production team has worked on hits for Austrian artists including Ina Regen, Josh and Pizzera & Jaus.

The partnership's debut release comes from pop artist Michael Russ, with further releases scheduled for later this year from the likes of AMS, Fräulein Peter and Now.
