Jason Derulo is the latest artist confirmed to perform at Isle of MTV Malta 2018.
Derulo, who performed at the event three years ago, will be joined on the bill by Hailee Steinfeld, DJ Sigala - together with special guests Paloma Faith and Ella Eyre - join Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for the free open-air festival on Wednesday, June 27.
The news was jointly announced by MTV International and the Malta Tourism Authority.
For the second year running, the main show will be followed by Isle of MTV Malta Music Week, bringing club nights to the island from June 28 to July 1.
In 2017, the week-long music festival featured international DJs such as Don Diablo and Martin Jensen, while this year will feature the likes of Redfoo and DJ Jax Jones.
For the second year in a row, MTV is also bringing back the iconic '90s dance show The Grind on Saturday June 30, this time to MedAsia Playa.
Isle of MTV Malta will be streamed live and broadcast as a 60-minute highlights linear show airing across MTV’s international channel network from August. In 2017, the main show and The Grind pool party garnered a total reach of 504 million across all social platforms.
Now in its 12th year, past performers at the event have included The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Steve Aoki, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Jess Glynne, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessie J, Will.i.am, Rita Ora, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, Kid Rock, Kelis, The Scissor Sisters, Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado, Maroon 5, The Chemical Brothers, Enrique Iglesias, N*E*R*D, Shaggy, Garbage, Jazzy Jeff, Gorillaz and OneRepublic.
