GigaOm writes that the domain was previously owned by Swedish company Xcerion and used as a cloud storage space. The company, however, rebranded its iCloud service as CloudMe after buying the CloudMe.com domain on April 5.
A banner on the CloudMe site says, "We are pleased to announce that iCloud is now CloudMe."
