Renowned producer and songwriter Salaam Remi has secured his own imprint label under Sony Music.

Billboard reports that the operation will be called Louder Than Life and will house two sub-imprints called RemiFa Music and Flying Buddha.

Remi said he will use the project as an 'incubator' to develop artists and that it will target youth and urban culture through multi-genre releases.

Remi's discography includes collaborations with a number of high-profile artists including Amy Winehouse, Usher and Alicia Keys.
