Two UK acts receive IFPI sales honour
Tuesday, Dec 7th 2004 at 4:24PMRobbie Williams' Greatest Hits has been recognised by the IFPI for racing to 3m sales across Europe.
The EMI album, which was released in October, gained a triple-platinum IFPI honour in November as Polydor act Snow Patrol won their first IFPI Platinum Award for 1m pan-European sales of Final Straw, their first for the Universal company.
Other albums to receive qualifications include Britney Spears' BMG-released Greatest Hits, which receives a level one certification, as does Eminem's Encore (Universal), ...
