One Media iP has purchased the catalogue of US country singer-songwriter Cole Taylor.
The deal, worth $260,000, includes the writer's share in hits including Florida Georgia Line's Sippin’ On Fire and Luke Bryan's Home Alone Tonight, both of which topped the American country charts.
According to One Media iP, country music remains on the rise as fans continue to switch to streaming. Country music amassed 50.88 billion streams in 2018, a 46% growth compared to 2017's figures.
Earlier this year One Media iP acquired the songwriting catalogue of US artist Michael Dulaney, as the multi-media company increased its presence within country.
