McFly/McBusted's Dougie Poynter launches new alt-rock band Ink

 

Dougie Poynter, bassist of platinum selling UK bands McFly and McBusted, has unveiled details of his new London-based alt-rock trio, Ink.

Founded by Poynter and singer/guitarist Todd Dorigo, a former solo artist who has previously played Glastonbury and toured with Carl Barat of The Libertines, Ink is completed by drummer Corey Alexander.

An official statement from the band read: “We’ve been busy conjuring up this world in which INK. can exist and now we’re finally ready to throw open the gates and populate it! ”

Their 4-track debut EP Heaven has just been made available on all streaming platforms.
