TikTok's Add To Music App passes six billion tracks saved with Sienna Spiro topping global rankings

TikTok’s music discovery feature Add To Music App has been used to save more than six billion tracks to premium music streaming services over the last 12 months.

The feature – which rolled out worldwide in 2024 – enables users to save songs that they discover on TikTok to their preferred music streaming services, helping to drive consumption.

“The milestone reinforces TikTok’s position as a critical driver of music consumption, with the six billion track saves going on to represent many, many billions more streams in repeat listening across premium music streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music,” said a statement. “This conversion from discovery on TikTok to listening on DSPs delivers tangible impact for the music industry, including chart breakthroughs, sustained global consumption, and significant royalty generation for artists and rights-holders.”

Global Top 20 Most-Saved Tracks on TikTok

TikTok has revealed the Top 20 most-saved tracks globally via Add To Music App over the past 12 months.

Die On This Hill by Sienna Spiro is at No.1 with more than six million creations and 16 billion video views. The track sparked a wave of performance-led trends and high-profile covers of the track, including artist performances from Pink, Demi Lovato and Spiro’s own duet with Sam Smith.

Fueled by this TikTok momentum, Die On This Hill generated more than 385 million streams on Spotify, charting at No.9 on the UK singles chart and No.19 on the US Hot 100.

Spiro is now set to feature in the Behind The Breakthrough campaign, which celebrates new emerging artists on TikTok.

Generating over six billion track saves – and many multiples more in streams – in a single year shows how powerful our platform is at driving music discovery among our community, and how seamlessly we are converting intent into streaming, chart success, and revenue for artists and their partners.”

Since its global roll-out, TikTok said that Add To Music App has become a core part of its music ecosystem.

“By capturing user intent at the moment of discovery, TikTok is extending the lifecycle of releases, accelerating fan acquisition, and delivering measurable, scalable value for artists and the wider music industry,” said the statement.
