T&C gains ground in Welsh radio

Town and Country Broadcasting, the company owned by former Virgin Radio and Wireless group chief executive Jason Bryant, has completed its acquisition of Radio Pembrokeshire and Radio Carmarthenshire.

The deals now make Town and Country Broadcasting one of the largest commercial radio groups in the country, owning five stations across the whole of Wales. It also won the licence for Swansea FM from Ofcom last year, with the aim to launch the station this November.
