We are looking for an Artist Management Assistant to join the management team of an established East London based management company.
They will support a number of managers on the team and support the day-to-day management of a number of our clients. We require the candidate to have experience in artist management or within the live and recording industry.
Minimum of 1 year music industry experience required.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining detailed shared diaries for the artist.
- Maintaining Artist social media networks, coming up with social media plans, overseeing marketing and single/EP roll out plans.
- Booking travel, accommodation and creating itineraries for both artist and manager.
- Communication with labels/marketing teams and acting as first point of contact when required.
- Assistance and input across all areas of the artist’s career including booking personnel, communicating with tour managers, budget management and event management.
- Actively searching for new music (via gigs, blogs, Soundcloud etc).
- Helping to run the in house record label.
The candidate must be:
- Organised, reliable and professional with a hardworking approach and a high attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated, a problem-solver and solution finder for both artist and management team with good time management.
- Have excellent digital skills, across social media and web management
- Take a keen interest in the company’s artists and have a solid understanding of the music industry.
