Radar launch free content commissioning services

Radar has today (May 22) announced the launch of a host of free new services tailored to meet the needs of contemporary music marketers. The project on Radar's new browsable platform is the result of a year of extensive research conducted with music content commissioners worldwide.

The new services Radar are offering will allow commissioners to search creative portfolios via skillset and location, store lists of 'liked' creative, store private notes about creative, contact creatives directly and send briefs privately to selected creative.

Speaking about the launch, Caroline Bottomley, founder, Radar said: “It’s a bit of a revolution for commissioners and creatives. Music marketers told us what we were offering (promoting their briefs to Radar creatives) wasn’t always the solution they were looking for - often they want to research their own options, or start more private conversations with selected creatives. So the new tools in Radar help them do that, plus new tools help them manage the various rambling processes of commissioning in one place."

Notable commissions via Radar have included Alt J's Breeze Blocks and UK Music Video Award winning Take Me Dancing by Will Joseph Cook.
