AIF Congress could depart Cardiff after this year's event

The Association Of Independent Festivals (AIF) has unveiled details of its 2017 Congress.

The organisation’s flagship conference, set for Wales Millennium Centre from October 30-31, has been held in Cardiff since its inception in 2014, but hosting rights will be put out to tender in future years.

“It was always the idea that it would be a bit of a movable feast because our members are spread out across the UK,” AIF general manager Paul Reed told Music Week.
