As autumn 2026 arena dates sell out, Fontaines DC book huge outdoor shows for next summer

Fontaines DC are to play their biggest ever headline shows in 2027.

Having sold out their entire 2026 UK arena tour this morning, the Irish band have announced a run of outdoor headline shows will take in Blackweir Fields, Cardiff (June 29), St James’ Park, Newcastle (July 1), Heaton Park, Manchester (July 3), Glasgow Green (July 6) and London Stadium (July 9).

Support on all dates will come from Little Simz and Viagra Boys. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Thursday (September 10).

Fans who have already pre-ordered Fontaines DC’s forthcoming album Dopamine Chamber will have automatic access to the September 8 pre-sale.

The band have also added a second night at Slane Castle, Ireland (June 26-27). They will become only the third ever Irish act to headline Slane Castle after U2 and Thin Lizzy.

Dopamine Chamber, the band’s fifth album, will be released on October 16. Lead single Marianne became their first UK Top 20 hit last week as Fontaines DC headlined Reading & Leeds Festival. It has consumption so far of 19,515 units (Official Charts Company) following last month’s release.

Dopamine Chamber, which was produced by James Ford, is the follow-up to 2024's UK platinum-certified Romance, which peaked at No.2. The band’s first album with XL Recordings is their biggest so far with UK consumption of 329,722 units.

Following this month’s US dates, Fontaines DC return with European and UK arena shows, culminating in a date at the O2 Arena on November 27.
