Ozzfest, the iconic festival launched by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, is set to return to The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on Saturday July 10, 2027.
It marks the first return of the event – which marks its 30th anniversary this year – since the passing of Ozzy and his historic farewell concert Back to the Beginning in 2025. Previously, Ozzfest had taken place at the site in 1998 and 2001.
Ozzfest has already announced details of its plans for the US, with the event taking place on Saturday, September 11, 2027 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA (where OZZFEST launched in 1996), followed by its first edition in Mexico City, MX Friday, September 18, 2027, at Estadio GNP Seguros.
An official press release has confirmed that the Milton Keynes line-up, which will “be revealed soon”, has been curated by Sharon Osbourne. Early “Bat” tickets go on sale on Friday, November 6 at 10am GMT.
Speaking about the event, Sharon Osbourne said: “Ozzy was the first to launch his own traveling metal festival, and Ozzfest will always remain an important part of Ozzy’s legacy. Unfortunately, due to continuing construction, Villa Park won’t be ready for any live shows this summer, so we had to relocate to Milton Keynes. The choice was to move Ozzfest or postpone it for another year.”a
Live Nation’s Andy Copping added: “It was a huge honour to work with Sharon on Back to the Beginning, so I’m thrilled to be working with her again on Ozzfest and bringing it back to the UK, back to the National Bowl where it all got started. We’re so excited about the lineup we’re putting together, and can’t wait to share it with the fans.”

The Ozzfest news comes on the heels of a host of other Ozzy and Black Sabbath-related activity. As previously reported, Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning will be released as a concert film and soundtrack on December 11 following its worldwide cinema premiere.
The release will span 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and digital, with limited-edition coloured vinyl variants split between artist D2C stores and independent retail: grey splatter via Osbourne’s store, purple splatter via the Black Sabbath store, and metallic vinyl at specialty and indie shops. A Deluxe Box Set will follow in April 2027, with a bonus HD Blu-ray featuring all 35 Osbourne and Black Sabbath songs and covers performed by special guests. The soundtrack is set for worldwide release via Mercury Studios.
