Metal titans Slipknot have announced details of their first ever stadium tour.
The (Sic)est Stadium Tour – produced by Live Nation – is set to take in dates across the globe in Summer 2027. The tour launches July 3 at London’s Wembley Stadium connected by EE, for a confirmed UK and Europe exclusive.
From there, Slipknot will embark upon their North American jaunt, which includes performances at D.C.’s Nationals Park, Citi Field in Queens, New York, Chicago’s Soldier Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and more. The tour wraps with five South American performances in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
Slipknot will be joined by Bring Me The Horizon as direct support on all North American dates with a rotation of special guests along the way including: Acid Bath, Lamb of God, Motionless In White, Lorna Shore, Kublai Khan TX, Polyphia, Loathe, and Vended.
Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore, and Hatebreed will support Slipknot in London for the tour kick off. Manson and Hatebreed rejoin them in South America in September along with local support.
The news comes on the back of the band recently dropping a surprise new single Arsenal on their own label (Sic)est Records, alongside their Warner label partners at Roadrunner/Atlantic.
To date, Slipknot have five platinum records in the UK and have scored three UK No.1 albums to date, including their last studio outing 2022's The End, So Far.
In our 2019 cover feature celebrating Slipknot and their manager's longterm relationship and success, 5B's Cory Brennan told Music Week that, despite their phenomenal global impact, they all still look at everything with an underdog state of mind.
“Everyone wants to say no to Slipknot,” he explains. “Every TV booker, every gatekeeper wants to say no because they’re scared, they don’t get the masks and uniforms and some of the mythology scares them. Every day that I come into the office I know it’s going to be a fight with somebody because my view of what Slipknot is and the world’s view of what Slipknot is isn’t always in line. I have to push, every day is kicking doors through and getting people to believe.”
