Electronic music is entering “another stage of evolution” as the dust settles on the EDM boom of the early 2010s, DJ Pete Tong has told Music Week.
The global electronic music industry was valued at $7.4 billion (£5.5bn) in the most recent IMS Business Report – a rise of 3% on the previous 12 months but a far cry from earlier in the decade, when the sector grew 60% in just three years.
