Macdonald was in Switzerland over the weekend where she won two awards at the industry's annual awards bash, the Swiss Music Awards. Her single, This Is The Life, won Best International Song while the accompanying album of the same name was named Best International Pop Rock Album of the year.

From there she travelled to Germany where she performed at the ECHO Awards, and was awarded the gong for Best International Newcomer.
