Kemp to go legal over Rui Da Silva hit single
Saturday, Jan 27th 2001 at 12:00AMFormer Spandau Ballet guitarist and songwriter Gary Kemp is preparing legal action against Rui Da Silva, his label and music publishers after claiming a version of his recent number one uses a sample from Chant No. 1.
Kemp alleges the original version of Touch Me sampled the riff from the group's 1981 single.
