Coldplay tease new double album Everyday Life with fan letter

Coldplay

Coldplay have sent a typed letter to fans announcing they will return with a double album.

The correspondences, seemingly sent out at random, have been shared on social media by recipients and say the record will be entitled Everyday Life.

Featuring a golden sun and moon logo which now appears on www.coldplay.com, the typed letter mentions the band have a double album coming.

"One half is called sunrise, the other sunset," it explains, adding it will "come out on November 22".

The letter bears the names of Coldplay's band members and although no official confirmation of the release plans has been sent out yet, the group's Twitter feed also mentions a November date (see below) although it focuses on November 22, 1919 and features Coldplay mocked up as a photograph from that era.

Earlier this year Coldplay frontman Chris Martin backed a drive for greater rights for self-employed members of the biz.
