Investment firm HarbourView Equity Partners has formed a strategic partnership with Grammy-nominated producer David Kershenbaum.
Over the course of a career spanning more than five decades, Kershenbaum has collaborated with artists including Tracy Chapman, Joe Jackson, Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, Marc Cohn, Gallagher & Lyle and Elkie Brooks.
As part of the transaction, HarbourView has acquired Kershenbaum's interest in producer royalties and related rights across master recordings, including Tracy Chapman's Fast Car (covered by Luke Combs), Baby Can I Hold You and Talkin' Bout a Revolution; Joe Jackson's Steppin' Out and Is She Really Going Out With Him; Marc Cohn's Walking in Memphis, and numerous other works.
The partnership further expands HarbourView's growing portfolio of music assets.

His work has earned four Grammy nominations, including Producer Of The Year.

Since its inception in 2021, HarbourView has amassed approximately $3.88 billion in regulatory assets under management and acquired more than 70 music catalogues, including works associated with Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Kelly Clarkson, T-Pain, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, James Fauntleroy, George Benson, Luis Fonsi, Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, Nelly, Wiz Khalifa and Kane Brown, among others.
