Shame sign to Dead Oceans

Shame have signed to Dead Oceans, making the announcement ahead of the upcoming General Election and making their political anthem Visa Vulture widely available at the same time.

Visa Vulture, which has long been popular among the south London band’s increasing following, is billed as a “tongue-in-cheek ode to Theresa May”,

“We wrote Visa Vulture when May was only Home Secretary and we’re happy to make it widely available on the eve of probably the most important election we'll ever vote in as a rallying cry, a wish that we'll never have to pen another Tory bashing song for at least another 5 years come June 8th”, say the band in a statement.

Shame’s updated live schedule includes an October UK tour, culminating in a show at London’s Scala, their biggest gig yet. The band will hit the festival circuit hard this summer, with performances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Latitude all on their itinerary. Scroll down for a full list of dates.
